Explore the unique landscape and rich heritage of Connemara along the Wild Atlantic Way. Your journey begins in the quaint village of Cong, once the capital of the High Kings of Ireland and home to the historic Ashford Castle. You'll then drive the scenic Joyce Country Lake Drive, gaining an even better view into the rugged terrain of the Maumturk Mountains.
A highlight of your visit is the iconic Kylemore Abbey, known for its beautiful Victorian Walled Gardens. This magnificent abbey represents history and promises memorable moments.
After a delightful lunch, continue to the Killary Fjord, Ireland’s only true fjord, nestled near the picturesque village of Leenane. Here, you’ll also have the opportunity to visit a working Connemara farm, complete with a traditional sheepdog demonstration.
