Itinerary

The journey begins in Belfast as the tour heads north to the rugged coastline. The first stop is the iconic ruins of Dunluce Castle, perched dramatically on a cliff edge. Dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, this stunning site offers a glimpse into the past and a perfect photo opportunity. Game of Thrones fans might recognise it as Castle Greyjoy, modified with CGI for the show.

Following the breathtaking Causeway Coastal Route, the tour passes craggy cliffs and ancient castles bringing the group to the famous Giant's Causeway. This natural wonder, flanked by the powerful Atlantic Ocean and towering cliffs, is steeped in both geological insights and mythical tales.

The day continues with a stop for lunch in the quaint seaside town of Ballycastle, where participants can choose to relax in a cosy pub or enjoy a takeaway by the water. After lunch, you'll head towards Glenariff Forest Park through the stunning Glens of Antrim, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Arriving at Glenariff Forest Park, known as the Queen of the Glens, the tour takes a refreshing walk along the Waterfall Trail. Spanning over 1000 hectares, the park boasts woodlands, lakes, and conservation areas.

As the tour nears Belfast, there is a quick stop at Carrickfergus Castle, a well-preserved Norman fortress with a rich history of sieges by various forces. After capturing some last photos, the group heads back to Belfast, arriving in the early evening.
