Join Sligo Surf Experience for a fully guided surf experience.

All the surf instructors are beach lifeguards so the surfers will always be in safe hands.

The surf lessons take place on a space on the beach accessed as safe for the surfers by their surf instructor.

All of the lessons take place in waist deep water between a pair of flags to designate the surf zone.

The instructors will size up each surfer for a wet suit to fit them and provide them with surf boots.

Surfers and then lead to the surf centre changing rooms and can store their belongings in the surf school van in the baskets provided.

Once at the beach, your surfers are guided by their instructors to set up a semi-circle with their boards on the beach. Next, our instructing staff will introduce themselves before asking the class to introduce themselves to their instructors. The participants will listen to a brief safety talk and surf demo before entering the water and enjoying the rest of their surf session.

Surf Lesson

Enter the water between the flags in the company of the instructors. The session involves putting what you have learned on the beach into practice while being coached and encouraged by your instructor and simply catching waves and having fun!

This will include time for meet and greet, surf sign-in, changing into wet suits and getting to the beach for your surf lessons, which includes a beach talk and safety demo.
