Full Description
The journey begins on Cows Lane, where visitors uncover the quirky secrets behind its name before stepping aboard a Viking boat, once the gateway for goods from distant lands (and perhaps a few unwelcome rats).
From there, the tour winds down Fishamble Street, once alive with the clatter and chatter of fish markets, before pausing at the ancient city walls to ask: were they built to keep enemies out, or to keep Dubliners in? Along the way, guests discover how trade and merchants from as early as the 840s shaped the city’s vibrant spirit.
Interactive and imaginative, this adventure invites families to hold their own Viking “Thing” court, ask playful questions, and share ideas with no wrong answers. It’s not just a walk through history — it’s a journey into Dublin’s Viking heart.
