Full Description

Day Tour to Glendalough

  • Depart O’Connell St.Upper and embark on a scenic journey through the Wicklow Mountains National Park and Wicklow Gap.
  • Continue through to Glendalough and experience a guided visit to Glendalough’s 6th century monastic settlement and lakes.
  • Proceed towards the Wicklow Gap and view the some of Irelands most breath-taking scenery and natural irish rivers.
  • The Tour will then set course towards Kilkenny, a city that is rich in history and steeped in Irish folklore.
  • You will then have the oppurtunity to have a guided walking tour to explore Irelands medieval captial.
  • Some of the main highlights of Kilkenny are the famous Black Abbey and the castle gardens.
  • There will also be time to fit in a pint in one of the many popular bars in kilkenny.
  • Once you are finished exploring the historical city, you will board the bus and head back towards Dublin.
