Prosecco and Alpaca Trek

Join K2Alpacas as you venture off into Wicklow and enjoy the walking trail with furry friends. Escape the chaos of the city and relax in the serene countryside for a truly unforgettable experience with the Alpaca and Prosecco Trek.

Meet and greet the farmland Alpacas and take in the scenic surrounding as you explore. Lead the Alpacas through Wicklow as you slow down and enjoy the simple joys of nature while bonding with some of the most charming animals.

Upon arrival, you will meet your ally (the alpacas) and form a bond with your walking partner. Uncover their quirks and gentle nature before you embark on the calming journey.

There are plenty of opportunities to stop and soak in the beautiful surroundings, take a picture or share a moment with the animals. Put a smile on your face as you get the chance to hand feed the Alpacas and reward them for their good behaviour.

To top off the experience, the trail concludes with a relaxing break that includes a glass of prosecco or a refreshing juice, served in a cozy outdoor space where you can chat with fellow trekkers and share stories from the walk. The walk itself is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes leaving you with 45 minutes. Before you head home, take a few moments to browse the charming ‘all alpaca’ Farm Shop, where you’ll find handmade items and unique gifts.

A minimum number of participants is required for the tour to take place. In the case that this number cannot be fulfilled - the trek may be cancelled and an alternative date that suits will be offered or a value voucher.

• The Trek itself is 1 hour and 15 minutes long which gives you 45 minutes to relax after the journey.
• K2Alpaca's ask that all guests arrive a minimum of 20 minutes prior to their excursion.
• The Alpacas Trek is suitable for all fitness levels other than those that need walking aids due to the ground's surface.

• The Trek Experience is suitable for those ages 8 and up.
• Children aged 8&9 are not allowed lead their own alpaca but can accompany an adult that is leading one.
• We recommend you come prepared - Don't wear open toed shoes - sandals aren't suitable nor are flip flops.
• We also don't recommend any loose clothing that may flap in the wind or get stuck.

• Please note! For bookings of 6 persons and over for our public treks, we cannot always guarantee that we can keep the group together.

K2Alpaca's share their own unique stories and experience while giving you the opportunity to bond and connect with the calming farmland Alpacas.

All treks are guided by a trained and experienced staff member. Participants are not allowed to handle the animals without supervision or leave the group with the alpaca.

This tour is not suitable for those that require walking aids.

Tours are weather dependant - it will take place in soft rain (so bring rain proof attire). If the rain is too heavy, the trek will be cancelled and an alternative date will be offered.

Cancellations or reschedules need 3 days notice, after that time no changes to your booking can be made.
