Full Description

Make the most of your time ashore with a small-group shore excursion designed specifically for cruise passengers visiting Cork Harbour. Travelling in a comfortable small tour vehicle with a limited number of passengers, this tour offers a more personal and flexible sightseeing experience compared with large coach tours.

Your day begins with pickup directly from the cruise terminal in Cobh or Ringaskiddy before heading inland through the scenic countryside of County Cork. The first stop is the iconic Blarney Castle, one of Ireland’s most famous historic sites. Here you can climb the castle tower and kiss the legendary Blarney Stone, believed to grant visitors the “gift of the gab,” while also exploring the beautiful gardens and surrounding grounds.

After visiting Blarney, enjoy a guided panoramic drive through Cork, often called the cultural capital of Ireland’s south. During the drive your guide will highlight important landmarks including St Fin Barre's Cathedral, the historic English Market, and the waterways of the River Lee.

The journey continues to Midleton, home to the famous Midleton Distillery, where some of Ireland’s best-known whiskeys have been produced for generations. Visitors can explore the distillery visitor centre and learn about the long tradition of Irish whiskey production.

Before returning to the ship, the tour concludes with a visit to Cobh, a colourful harbour town known for its maritime history and as the final port of call for the RMS Titanic. Time permitting, visitors may also see the impressive St Colman's Cathedral, which overlooks the harbour.

After a full day of sightseeing, your guide will ensure a timely return to the cruise port so you can reboard your ship comfortably before departure.
