Start your day off departing Cobh station by train and enjoy a scenic train journey on the way to your first stop; Blarney Castle and Gardens.

Blarney Castle grounds are home to stunning gardens and the castle is most famous for "The Blarney Stone". Legend has it that if you kiss this stone you'll receive the "gift of the gab".

You'll then depart Blarney Castle and head for Cork City where you'll visit Cobh Graveyard and St. Colman's Cathedral also known as Cobh Cathedral.

The next stop is Cobh Heritage Centre where you can learn about the Irish Famine and how blight on the main food source in Ireland at the time, the potato, caused a nationwide famine which lasted several years and took a dramatic toll on Ireland's population. Also explore the Queenstown Story which delves into the millions of Irish people that left Ireland from the Port of Cobh due to the famine.

The Heritage Centre also tells the story of how the Titanic embarked its final stop from Queenstown in Cork. With colourful and informative displays that will take you back in time to learn more about the tragic voyage of the Titanic.

You'll finish the tour back where you started at Cobh train station.
