Cork City, also known as the rebel city, has something for everybody to enjoy when they visit. From their renowned food scene to their endless number of activities and stunning scenery you most definitely will not be bored while visiting the South Coast of Ireland.
We have carefully put together an itinerary for a 3 day trip to Cork using some of our favourite activities mixed with our local knowledge to ensure you have the best experience.
Day 1
Morning
Start your day with a Guided Walking Tour around Cork City to get a feel for the city, learn the history behind the streets you’ll walk on from a true cork local and visit Corks iconic landmarks. If you are looking for a less structured start to your visit take a wander through the English market, which is actually one of Europe’s oldest food markets and grab some delicious Irish breakfast to fuel your day.
Afternoon
After giving your delicious breakfast some time to digest you can transport back in time while visiting Cork City’s Gaol, where you will learn fascinating facts about this 19th century prison. If you are less of a history lover and prefer architecture, we have a visit to St. Finn Barre’s Cathedral. This architectural masterpiece and promises to deliver the wow factor to anyone who visits. For our artists looking for something to do this afternoon, take a visit to the Glucksman Gallery for your fix or Art and Culture, a tour filled with beautiful pieces and information.
Evening
After your busy day have some dinner in Corks city centre to try food in a local pub to try some traditional Irish food while enjoying some live music. If you are still feeling energetic you cannot miss the Cork beer tour! This 3 hour tour takes you around the city to sample local brews in several of the best locations Cork has to offer.

Day 2
Morning
Day 2 is a day for day trips and sightseeing the most iconic locations Cork has to offer. Join us on the Blarney Castle & Queenstown Titanic Day Tour by Train to venture around the beautiful gardens of the castle. You will also get the opportunity to kiss the famous Blarney Stone which is said to give you the gift of eloquence.
Afternoon
After this fulfilling morning you should visit Cobh Heritage centre and walk the Titanic Trail Cobh. Here you will learn all about the quaint town’s deep emigration and maritime history, a perfect activity to please both the nature and history lovers. Follow this by a leisurely stroll along vibrant harbour and grab a bite to eat to eat along the seafront.
Evening
Relax and unwind in the evening by taking part in the Hysterical Histories Dinner Theatre Experience. A great way to spend the evening filled with laughter, learning and good food all wrapped into a night you won’t forget.

Day 3
Morning
For your final day we have squeezed in as much as possible to ensure you have got to experience all Cork has to offer. Spend your morning cycling around cork on the Cork City Cycle Tour which is a great way to explore the city and places surrounding it in a short amount of time. If your more if a water creature take a paddle through nature with the Secrets of seaweed kayak tour.
Afternoon
Keeping with the theme of nature for your afternoon, we have the Foraging Walk and fireside lunch tour, where you can take a step back in time and how people used to live many years ago.
Evening
