As the story unravels, learn about how the Smithwick's family established the brewery back in 1710. Earning a reputation for themselves, the Smithwicks became Ireland's most famous Ale. Known for their exceptional brewing, entrepreneurial spirit, and innovative approach, the Smithwick family truly made their mark in history.

Once you have established the history of the owners, you will be taken onto the brewing floor to discover how the ale process takes place. Your senses will be jumping as you encounter the distinguished smell and taste of the ale through the air. You will unlock the 4 main ingredients that go into every single pint of Smithwick's - including their secret component that makes them stand out against all competitors.

Some may say the final stage of the tour is their favourite - the sampling!

With the Paddle Tasting experience, you get to endure 3 different ales - 2 of Smithwick's famous ales and 1 Kilkenny Beer.
